How much do you know about My Healthy Plate?
My Healthy Plate is a guide to estimate the food portions in a meal. This plate is divided into quarter, quarter and half. The Health Promotion Board advises to fill one quarter with wholegrains, one quarter with protein and the remaining half with fruit and vegetables.
The current guidelines are to use My Healthy Plate as a reference for all meals of the day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. By following this plate, we can achieve healthy, balanced meals that meet our nutritional requirements. We also recommend water as your beverage of choice, instead of soft drinks and alcohol.
Healthier oils such as olive oil are rich in antioxidants and low in ‘bad’ fats. Hence, it is best to use these oils when cooking. In addition to a healthy diet, exercise is also extremely important. Click here to find out more about exercise.

Some physical activity is better than none, and more is better than some.
Objective for this week!
Hit the recommended 10,000 steps a day and 150 minutes of physical activity per week.
